In Gulmarg: During heavy snowfall, there will be a change of vehicle in Tangmarg, which is about 14 km before Gulmarg. Snow Jeeps or chained vehicles will be used from there up to Gulmarg and back, for which the clients have to pay an additional amount of INR 2000 for a return trip. In Pahalgam, sightseeing of Chandanwari, Betaab Valley, and Aru Valley is not included in our packages and can be done via union cabs on direct payment. Sightseeing to Baisaran valley via ponies are not included and can be done on direct payment basis ( highly bargainable) It is not mandatory for guests to take ponies in Gulmarg & Pahalgam to visit all the important tourist spots; all the major tourist attraction points are in close proximity, so you can walk them down. However, if still wish to take a pony ride go sledging go rafting, etc the rates are highly negotiable. Please bargain to your max. In Sonmarg: The vehicle is allowed to drop at main Sonamarg and from there onwards, one has to walk up to Thajiwas or one can go by ponies on direct payment. postpaid connection with roaming facility works in J&K. Katra for Pithu, Palki, and Pony Services Municipal Committee Katra has fixed the rates, which are displayed on the rate card outside their booking office at Banganga. If someone is over charging above the listed rates, its up to you how hard you can bargain. For Shopping: Dry Fruits, Rajma, Basmati Rice, Handicrafts, Woolens, Carpets, Saffron, Cricket Bats Srinagar :Lal Chowk Boulevard for Kashmiri Wazwan Food: Aadhoos at Lal Chowk Srinagar is the best place, and Mutton Kebab at Gee Enn Bakers on Residency Road. Day 1: AIRPORT PICK UP & LOCAL SIGHTSEEING:-
On your arrival at Srinagar Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative, who will assist and escort you to your waiting vehicle and drive straight To Srinagar city. Later, Full-day sightseeing of world-Famous Mughal gardens of Nishat Shahimar, Chashma shahi and Pari mahal.Built over a period of 14 years, the two gardens are a legacy left behind by the erstwhile Mughals, whose taste for laying exquisite gardens was fascinating. With a backdrop of the sprawling Zabarwan mountains, the gardens boast of green turfs, blooming flowers and cascading water fountains. In the evening, Shikara rides in Dal Lake for an hour. Overnight Stay at Hotel In Srinagar.
Day 2: SONMARG DAY TRIP:
Full-day excursion to Sonmarg, which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. On the way, we stop at many beautiful spots. Continue to drive to Sonmarg 2690 Mtrs. (Meadow of Gold). One can ride on horse to visit Thajiwas Glacier, where snow remains round the year and Sonmarg, known as Gateway of Ladakh. In the evening, return to the resort. Overnight at a hotel in Srinagar.
NOTE: In Sonmarg Sightseeing of Zojila Pass, zero-point-fish points are not included. If one wishes to visit the same, they can hire a union cab at Sonmarg on direct payment basis.
Day 3: GULMARG DAY Trip:
After breakfast, we will begin our tour towards Gulmarg. The drive past colorful villages and rice fields gives you an insight of the rich cultural past of Kashmir. We arrive at the small, picturesque market town of Tangmarg and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 14 kilometers to Gulmarg. In Gulmarg One Can board the Gondola cable car system and ascend towards the Affarwat Mountain range. The eight minutes of ropeway will take you past colorful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Afarwat peak. From here, you can click photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels guarding the rich natural beauty of Kashmir valley. We will descend back to Gulmarg base after an hour or so. Overnight at a Hotel in Srinagar.
